We are proud to recognize several of our deputies for their outstanding response to a recent structure fire at the Best Western in the Point South area.
In the face of a dangerous and rapidly developing situation, their quick actions, bravery, and professionalism truly made the difference that day. Their commitment to protecting lives and property reflects the very best of our agency.
Recognized (left to right):
Dep. Carson Yuresko, LCpl. William Riley, Cpl. Austin Coker, LCpl. Justin Pinckney, Cpl. Kevin Booker, Cpl. Allanna Donahue, and Dep. Gabriel Patterson.
We also want to recognize Animal Control Officer Darcy Burnette, who went above and beyond while responding to a separate call. Officer Burnette showed exceptional care and compassion while rescuing an injured dog that had been struck by a vehicle and became trapped inside a culvert pipe. Her dedication to the welfare of animals in our community does not go unnoticed.
We are grateful for the courage, compassion, and service these team members demonstrate every day. Please join us in thanking them for a job well done.
