The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office will join law enforcement agencies across South Carolina in the Operation Southern Slow Down enforcement campaign, July 13-19.

During this campaign, deputies will conduct increased traffic enforcement throughout Jasper County with a focus on reducing speeding and keeping our roadways safe.

Speeding is one of the leading causes of serious and fatal crashes. Every mile per hour over the speed limit reduces your ability to react and increases the severity of a crash.
