The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of scammers impersonating deputies by phone. They may claim you missed jury duty or have a warrant for your arrest and demand payment over the phone.

Remember: The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office will never call and demand money.

If you receive one of these calls, hang up, do not provide any personal information, and report it to the Sheriff’s Office.
